KoolSpan Showcases Mobile Encryption Engine at RSA

KoolSpan, Inc., developer of the TrustChip family of plug-in mobile security solutions, announced that the company will attend and exhibit at the 2012 RSA Conference in San Francisco from Feb. 27 through March 2, 2012.

The five-day RSA Conference focuses on security attacks, data breaches and mobile security threats and brings together information security industry leaders and thought innovators. By exhibiting at the RSA Conference, Koolspan will provide customers and partners with the opportunity to demo their latest innovative data encryption and security products optimized for the mobile market.

"Mobile attacks are the No. 1 security threat faced by the government and private sector right now," said Koolspan CTO Bill Supernor. "We look forward to the opportunity to showcase our ground-breaking TrustChip and mobile security applications for the security industry leaders in attendance."

TrustChip differs from other mobile security solutions in that it is hardware-based - anchored by a chip in the form factor of a microSD card that slides into smart phones and makes hacking of voice calls and text messages virtually impossible. As worldwide mobile threats increase, the TrustChip provides a solution for government and enterprise to create TrustGroups, ensuring secure voice and text messaging between any set of users or devices.

KoolSpan is also a sponsor of the Mobile Security Pavilion & Theater at Booth 2247. Throughout each day, the Mobile Security Pavilion & Theater will present non-stop relevant, non-product presentations covering the most significant mobile security issues. Each day, KoolSpan Senior Security Engineer Glenn Schoonover will present: Secure Mobile Voice: Who's Listening to Your Phone Calls? In this session, Schoonover will discuss the widespread misconception that the encryption on GSM and CDMA cellular networks is "good enough."
